◇Fukuoka Softbank vs Saitama Seibu Lions Game 24 (22nd, MIZUHO PayPay Dome)

Saitama Seibu Lions's Seiya Watanabe recorded his 11th solo Home Run to temporarily tie the game.

In the top of the 6th inning trailing by one run, Seiya Watanabe caught a breaking ball from the second pitcher, Hernandez, on the 6th pitch from a full count, and the ball flew toward left field. The hit, which he knew was gone, landed in the stands, tying the game with his 11th solo Home Run.

Seiya Watanabe, who also hit his 10th Home Run on September 19th to reach double digits for the second consecutive year, has now homered in two straight games. He is now just "1" away from last season's total of 12 Home Run.

◇Seiya Watanabe Comment
"I hit a cutter. I was able to drive the ball back at a good angle against a pitch that came in over the heart of the plate. I'm glad I could tie the game."
