◇ Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Game 24 (13th, Belluna Dome)

Saitama Seibu Lions player Nevin recorded his 20th solo Home Run.

Saitama Seibu Lions found themselves trailing by 4 runs as runs accumulated from the early stages. Although they managed to get a hit almost every inning against the opponent's starting pitcher Kohei Arihara, they were unable to get that one final hit. However, in the bottom of the 4th inning, the lead-off batter Nevin responded to an inside breaking ball by tucking his arms in. The moment he hit it, it was a certain shot that flew into the left-field stands where the fans were waiting.

With this blast, he reached 20 Home Runs for the season, marking his second consecutive year with 20 Home Runs. While he was somewhat sluggish during the summer, he is currently in good form with a 4-game hitting streak, including Home Runs in 3 of those games.

◇ Player Nevin Comment
"I hit a two-seam fastball. The opponent pitcher was pitching well, so I'm glad I could get one run back first. I'll do my best next time."
