For Tohoku Rakuten, Yukiya Ito was on fire yesterday with 4 hits, bringing his record for this series to 6 hits in 7 At Bats. This season, he has been in the second team since being removed from the first-team roster in May. His batting average in the farm league is rising to .254, partly due to yesterday's performance. He hopes to finish the season in good form and carry that momentum into next season.

Sho Gibo is currently on a 10-game hitting streak.

At Osaka City Shinkyo Stadium, the 26th round match between the Orix Buffaloes and Hiroshima will take place from 13:00.

Orix Buffaloes' player Sho Gibo showed great spirit with 2 hits in the previous game, even as the team suffered a 6-hit shutout game loss. He is maintaining excellent form with a 10-game hitting streak and boasts an outstanding batting average of .327. Since he was unable to produce results with the first team, recording only 7 hits in 43 At Bats for a .163 average, he will be looking to further refine his batting.
