On May 14, in the ninth round of the Farm regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 5-2.
In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Hiroki Tsuneya hit his second solo home run to take the lead. Starting pitcher Yi-Lei Sun pitcher pitched well through the fifth inning, closer just one hit, but in the top of the sixth, Kyosuke Kaneko hit a timely hit to tie the game. In the bottom of the sixth, Kane Edokpolo hit his seventh solo home run to take the lead, but Son pitcher gave up triple from Tsubasa Yoshino in the top of the seventh and tied the game again during a wild pitch.
Son pitcher left the mound after 7 innings with 90 pitches, 4 hit, 1 Walk, 6 strike out, and 2 runs, and Yamato Kato pitcher came in in the top of the 8th. They faced a pinch with two outs and runners on first and third, but closer runs with no outs, the lineup created a chance with two outs and runners on first and second in the bottom of the eighth. Here, Leo Shibata player scored a timely doble to take the lead by three runs, and the top of the ninth inning ended with Jay Ohkawa pitcher leading 5-2.
The defeated Tohoku Rakuten Eagles pitched a strong 4 hit 2 runs through 7 innings with starter Haruto Sakai pitcher, but collapsed late in the innings, throwing 133 pitches in 8 innings with 5 hit 5 Walk 4 strike out 5 runs (earned runs 4). In the batting lineup, players Yuya Kishimoto, Kaneko, and Gina each hit two hit, but finished with a total of 5 hit and 2 runs.
