On June 25, in the second round of the farm regular season between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Hayate Shizuoka held in Shinrindori Stadium Izumi, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles win 7-4.

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles 's starter, Tatsuki Koja pitcher, retired closer all three batters in order in the top of the first inning, and in the second and third innings, allowed the leadoff hitter to reach base but shut down the trailing runners. However, in the top of the 4th, Toshihiko Kuramoto hit a timely hit to take the lead, and with two outs and runners on first and third, Hideo Sato hit another run. In the top of the fifth, he retired all three batters in order, but in the top of the sixth, he gave up Kyosuke Noguchi's second solo homer, leaving the mound with two outs and runners on first and third. Qi Xiao pitcher followed up and escaped the crisis with a grounder to the pitcher.

The lineup put up runner every inning through five innings but failed to score. Still, in the bottom of the sixth, a series of hits by Shoya Sakagami and Takaya Tanaka created a good opportunity with runners on first and third with no outs. With one out, Po Hsiang Yang scored a run between infield grounders by the player.

In the top of the seventh, the reliever team gave up one run to third pitcher Naoto Nishiguchi pitcher, but in the top of the eighth, Tomohito Sakai pitcher connected with no runs. Then, in the bottom of the eighth, with Walk and Daiki Irie hit, two outs and runners on first and second, the lineup scored a run with a timely hit by Daita Horomura. Akira Shigenaga player followed up with a hit, and with two outs bases loaded, YG Yasuda hit a two-run hit to tie the game. Furthermore, in this inning, Shion Otsubo hit his fifth three-run homer, successfully taking the lead.

In the top of the ninth, Chiharu Tanaka pitcher retired three batters including two struck out, ending the game 7-4. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles started Tatsuki Koja pitcher 5.2 innings, pitching 91 pitches, 8 hit, 1 Walk, 5 strike out 3 runs. In the lineup, Otsubo recorded 2-hit and 3 RBI, including Home Run, while Horomura, Shigenaga, and YG Yasuda also hit 2 hit.
