◇Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, Round 23 (22nd, ES CON FIELD)

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles' McCusker hit his 23rd 2-run Home Run.

In the top of the 3rd inning with a one-point lead and two outs with a runner on second, McCusker stepped up to the plate. With a 2-2 count, he swung at a fastball from the opposing starter, Koki Kitayama, sending the ball toward right field. It flew straight into the bullpen, marking his second consecutive game with a home run and adding a valuable insurance point.

McCusker, who also hit a Home Run in his previous matchup against pitcher Kitayama, showed his strong compatibility. The main gun continues to lead the team in this game as well.

◇McCusker's Comment
"I hit a fastball. I jammed it a little, but I'm glad it reached the stands. I'll stay focused and do my best in my next at-bats." (Smiles)
