On July 14, in the ninth round of the Farm regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Tokyo Yakult held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 5-3.

Starting pitcher Taiki Kikuchi pitcher faced a crisis with two outs and runners on first and second from the first inning, but managed to get through with a struck out swing. However, in the top of the third, with hit and Walk in a row with two outs and bases loaded, pitcher was substituted. The second pitcher, Kotaro Seimiya pitcher, took the closer and did not give Tokyo Yakult the first run.

Then, in the bottom of the fourth, Naoki Arizono reached base with a doble, and with one out, Yushin Shimizu hit a timely hit to take the lead. With two outs and a runner on second, Hinode Hoshino added a second run with a timely doble. After that, Yuzono continued to extend the lead with a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth.

Although Tokyo Yakult 's lineup fought back late in the game, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham held on to end their two-game losing streak. The lineup that recorded double-digit hit saw Arizono hit hit 3 RBI 1, and Tokyo fielder’s choice Yakult 's Yasuhiro Ogawa pitcher hit doble in two consecutive at-bats. Rookie Minato Handa also recorded two hit.

Starting pitcher pitcher Kikuchi pitched 2.2 innings, throwing 63 pitches, 2 hit, 3 Walk, 3 strike out no runs. pitcher Kiyomiya, who closer 1.1 inning with 2 strike out no runs, earned his first win of the season.
