On May 5, in the fourth round of the Farm regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Yokohama DeNA held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham lost 8-12 after extra inning games.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham starting Kohei Arihara pitcher started strong with 4 strike out through the second inning. However, in the top of the third, Hibiki Kato gave up the lead with a timely doble, and in the top of the fifth, Koki Kajiwara gave up a solo homer, giving up two runs in the inning.

The batting lineup began a comeback in the bottom of the sixth inning with Kane Edokpolo 's sixth solo homer. In the bottom of the seventh, with an error and Walk, they created a good opportunity with runners on first and second and no outs, and a timely hit by Takuya Nakashima narrowed the gap to one run. With runners on second and third and no outs, the score was tied between infield grounders. The following Daigo Kamikawahata took the lead with timely hits by players, and then extended the lead with wild pitches and squeeze.

However, in the top of the eighth, with the score tied 6-3, Jay Ohkawa pitcher hit a three-run homer over the innings, bringing the game to the starting point. In the top of the ninth, Ryusei Kawano pitcher closer runs out, but he couldn't capitalize on a chance with two outs and a runner on second in the bottom of the ninth. In the top of the 10th inning, with no outs and a runner on second, the fifth pitcher Takahide Ikeda pitcher hit three RBI hits for a total of 6 runs. In the bottom of the 10th, Hiroki Tsuneya and pinch hitter Ryosuke Myose scored two runs, but the next batters fell, ending the game 8-12.
　
Starting pitcher pitcher Arihara made his first game appearance after being removed from the first-team roster, pitching 5 innings with 83 pitches, 3 hit 4 Walk 5 strike out 3 runs. Fifth pitcher pitcher Ikeda gave up 4 hit 6 runs in the top of the 10th inning. The batting lineup features Takuya Nakashima players who came in as substitutes with 3 hit 1 RBI, and Kamikawabata who posted 2 hit 1 RBI.
