◇Chiba Lotte Marines vs Fukuoka Softbank Game 25 (3rd, Zozo Marine Stadium)

Chiba Lotte Marines pitcher Hayato Fuji finished his professional debut with 1 inning and 0 runs.

In the top of the 6th inning, trailing by 1 run, he made his professional debut as the 5th pitcher. After getting the lead-off batter Kensuke Kondo to fly out to center on a slider, he faced Ryoya Kurihara and induced another fly out to center on a slider from a count 2-2. Finally, he struck out Yuki Yanagita swinging with a 153km/h fastball, retiring the powerful Softbank Hawks cleanup hitters in order.

Pitcher Fuji, who joined from Nippon Express as the 5th draft pick in 2025 and earned his first promotion to the first team today on the 3rd. Since his younger brother, Seibu Lions pitcher Yamato Fuji, also made his professional debut in the September 27th game against the Rakuten Eagles, we look forward to future matchups between the brothers.
