On July 19, in the sixth round of the farm regular season Chiba Lotte Marines against The Giants held in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium, Chiba Lotte Marines win 5-2.

Starting pitcher Haruya Tanaka pitcher took the runner in the top of the third inning, the third Walk of the game, and with one out and runners on second, allowed Yusei Ishizuka to hit a go-ahead RBI single.

In the bottom of the fourth, trailing by one run, the lineup tied the game with three consecutive hits by Yuya Sakurai, Yu Tatematsu, and Katsumi Ishigaki, then followed with Ryusei Miyazaki 's first three-run homer to quickly take the lead. After that, Daito Yamamoto added timely doble, and in this inning, they turned the game around with five runs in one go.

In the top of the 7th, pitcher Tanaka gave up a solo home run to pinch hitter Yuto Kohama, and was replaced midway through the 7th inning with a 4-hit 6-6 Hit by Pitch strike out 6-2 runs. Late in the game, he used relievers to stop the The Giants lineup's counterattack.

Chiba Lotte Marines, on a four-game winning streak, saw starter pitcher Tanaka struggle with BB 4 and Hit by Pitch 2 through the fourth, but bounced back in the struck out top of the sixth to secure his second win. Fourth pitcher Ryota Nakamura pitcher, who closer retired all three batters in the top of the ninth, recorded his second save. At the plate, Masaru Ishigaki posted a 3-hit RBI, Miyazaki hit a 2-hit 3-RBI 1 stolen base including a single homer, and Yamamoto posted a 2-hit 1 RBI including two consecutive at-bats with doble.
