On July 18, in the third round of the farm regular season against Saitama Seibu Lions Oisix Niigata held in CAR3219 Field, Saitama Seibu Lions win 5-3.

In the bottom of the second, Saitama Seibu Lions took the lead with one out, runners on first and second, and Teruki Koga with a timely doble by with hit by Yuta Nakazo and Shun Akiyama. After Koji Kaneko hit a timely single, Ginjiro Sumitani hit a sacrifice fly, scoring three runs in the inning. In the bottom of the fourth, Teru Koga added another run with a timely single.

Starting pitcher Towa Uema pitcher gave up a solo home run in the top of the third. With the score tied 4-1 in the top of the fifth, with one out and runners on first and third, he allowed a wild pitch to score home. With runners on first and third and one out, he added a run between infield grounders to cut the lead to one run. Still, from the sixth inning onward, he retired three batters in inning a row.

Saitama Seibu Lions scored again in the bottom of the sixth inning with double play innings. In the top of the eighth, Ryota Itokawa pitcher and in the ninth, Hakua Iwaki pitcher held onto a two-run lead. Starting pitcher pitcher Uema earned his first win this season with 87 pitches, 5 hit, 2 walks, 3 Hit by Pitch, 3 strike out, 3 runs (earned runs 2) over 7 innings, the longest of the season. Teru Koga made a strong performance with a 2-hit 2-RBI including the go-ahead hit.
