​Makcascar from Tohoku Rakuten Eagles hit his seventh solo home run to take the lead.

In the bottom of the second inning with neither team scoring, leadoff player McCuscar perfectly caught the fifth pitch, fastball thrown by opposing starter Hiromi Ito pitcher, from count 3-1. The confident ball went straight to the right field stands. With a large parabolic solo home run of the 7th, he gave Takahisa Hayakawa pitcher a valuable first run.

With this shot from their first encounter with pitcher Ito, McCuscar now marks his 10th consecutive hit in matches.
