The starter for the Chiba Lotte Marines is Jackson, pitcher. In the previous matchup on August 29th, he showed a good start by recording two struck out in the first inning, but his control faltered in the middle of the game, resulting in 4 innings, 5 hits, 3 Walks, and 6 runs. Additionally, he has given up a Home Run in three consecutive games against Hokkaido Nippon-Ham. While being cautious of the long ball, can he achieve revenge with a stable pitch?

On the other hand, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham's Ren Fukushima, pitcher, is making his first start since July 12th. On that day, he suffered a loss with 4.0 innings, 7 hits, and 6 runs, and since then, he has appeared as a reliever in 16 games. He recorded his first pro hold on August 5th and his first save on September 6th. He has been pitching well recently with 9 consecutive scoreless games, but what kind of pitch will he display in his first start in about two and a half months? In the lineup, Yua Tamiya hit a Home Run in the previous matchup against Jackson, pitcher.
