◇Tohoku Rakuten Eagles Reaches an agreement to sign Junior Marte, formerly of the Chunichi

The Tohoku Rakuten Eagles announced that they have agreed to a contract with Junior Marte pitcher. Marte pitcher was with Chunichi last season, appearing in 35 games, mainly as a reliever. He pitched 32.1 innings, posting 10 runs (earned runs 7) and ERA 1.95.

◇ Orix Buffaloes" The Buffaloes Trading Cards" to hold Osaka Loop Line Digital Trading Card Rally Event

Orix Buffaloes, in collaboration with West Japan Railway Company, will hold a digital trading card rally event for its electronic trading card collection service "The Buffaloes Trading Cards" to coincide with "Bs Orihime Day 2026 supported by Exdream Real Estate," which starts on Saturday, July 18th.

For this event, station advertisements at participating stations on the Osaka Loop Line will display QR codes that allow you to obtain limited-edition digital trading cards for the Bs Orihime Day 2026 event.
