On Sunday, August 30th, a retirement game for Takumi Kuriyama, who has announced his retirement at the end of this season, will be held at Belluna Dome during the Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Tohoku Rakuten Rakuten Eagles game. A retirement ceremony will be held after the game, and approximately 630 members of the "TEAM PR1DE ~ Takumi Kuriyama OFFICIAL FANCLUB~" will be invited by lottery to a retirement press conference scheduled to be held in Tokyo that morning.

This season, the "PR1DE SERIES" project is underway to celebrate Kuriyama's final season together with his fans. Sunday, August 30th marks the final day of the third phase of the project, which began on Friday, August 28th.

On the day of the game, the manager, coaches, and all players from the first to third teams will wear the limited-edition "PR1DE jersey jersey for that day only.
