​Daisuke Nakashima players from the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles have rejoined the first team. He responded to the immediate starting line-up with timely hits, providing runs to starter Kenta Maeda pitcher.

In the bottom of the 2nd, a series of hits by McCuscar and Yoshiaki Watanabe created a good opportunity with runners on second and third with no outs. The next Itsuki Murabayashi player scored a sacrifice fly that marked their second consecutive RBI, successfully taking the lead. With one out and a runner on second, Nakajima came up to bat. The second pitch, thrown by the opposing starter Natsuki Takeuchi pitcher, sharply pulled fastball, and the ball passed over first baseman 's head.
