Orix Buffaloes Starting pitcher Jerry pitcher inning the first two innings with runner but struck out the next batters and runs. In the bottom of the fourth, he faced a crisis with one out and a runner on third due to a teammate's error, but managed to overcome with a groundout to second with struck out. From the 5th inning, 2 inning was retired by all three batters, and in the 6th inning, he threw 104 pitches, 2 hit 2 Walk 8 strike out and no runs, leaving the mound.

In the top of the third inning, with two outs, Kenya Wakatsuki hit their first solo home run to take the lead. In the top of the 5th, Yuma Mune and Ryoma Nishikawa players added two more RBI hits. Fukuoka Softbank 's starter, Naoyuki Uwasawa pitcher, who lost the first inning, got off to a strong start, closer three batters out of the first two inning. However, he was caught in the second over, throwing 83 pitches in 5 innings, 4 hit 2 Walk 2 strike out 3 runs. The lineup also ended up with a scattered 3-hit run.
