On May 28, the third round of the 'Nippon Life Central-Paca Interleague 2026' between The Giants and Fukuoka Softbank held in Tokyo Dome ended 8-4 for Fukuoka Softbank win.

Fukuoka Softbank Starting pitcher C. Stewart Jr. pitcher gave up one run in the bottom of the second inning on Shunsuke Sasaki's RBI single. In the bottom of the third, he gave up timely hits to Darbek and Cavige, giving up a 3-runs run. He left the mound after 7 hit 2 fours Hit by Pitch 3 strike out 4 runs in the 5th inning.

In the top of the second inning, Ryoya Kurihara hit his 14th solo home run to take the lead. In the top of the 5th, Tomoya Masaki hit a timely hit, and with two outs and bases loaded, Kensuke Kondo player drew in a bases-loaded Walk and added two more runs. In the top of the sixth, Kenta Imamiya and Yudai Shoji hit consecutive timely hits, taking the lead at 5-4. In the top of the 7th, Kurihara hit his 15th solo homer, and Yudai Yamamoto hit his second two-run homer, extending the lead to 8-4 and 4 runs.

From the sixth inning onward, after the winning lead, the relief staff shut the opposing lineup to just 1 hit. In the bottom of the ninth, Kazuki Sugiyama pitcher closed out the game with three consecutive struck out to close out the game 8-4. The lineup broke through the opponent's pitcher with a series of hits, securing the winning series in the series. Kurihara marked 2 Home Run, and Yudai Yamamoto marked 3 hit.
