Chiba Lotte Marines ended their losing streak at 4, and fourth pitcher pitcher Suzuki earned his second win of the season. In the lineup, Sato hit back-to-back home runs in two at-bats, and Ueda recorded two hit and one RBI, including his first solo homer.

Meanwhile, the losing Fukuoka Softbank 's starting pitcher Ryosuke Otsu pitcher pitched 6.1 innings, 7 hit 3 Walk 7 strike out 3 runs. The lineup was closer with only two home runs by Yamakawa and one hit by Ryoya Kurihara.
