◇ Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Orix Buffaloes, Game 8 (August 2nd, ES CON FIELD)

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' Kotaro Kiyomiya hit a crucial two-run homer, his sixth of the season, to extend the lead.

In the first inning, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham took an early 2-0 lead with a timely doble by Reyes. With two outs and a runner on second base, Yuki Kiyomiya stepped up to the plate for his first at-bat and didn't miss the opportunity when pitcher starter Espinoza threw a poorly placed first pitch, sending it into the second deck of the right field stands.

Yuki Kiyomiya hit a total of four Home Run in four games in March, but only one in April, against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles on the 9th. He has now hit Home Run in about a month, but can he start producing them in large numbers again from here on out?
